Don’t rely on your car. Here are few ways to drive less:
- Drive less. Walk more, take your bike or use public transportation.
- Join a local community car sharing agency, using a vehicle when only absolutely necessary.
- Pump up your car’s tires. Remove unnecessary weight from your car. Drive a more fuel efficient vehicle.
- Conserve water. Use waterless car wash products to clean, polish and maintain the appearance of your vehicle.
- When you can, telecommute to work.
If you drive, your car probably produces more carbon emissions than any other activity in your daily life. But there are many ways to drive less and to travel more efficiently. By making our transportation choices more efficient, we can drastically reduce our overall output of carbon dioxide.
